"HerStory: She Persisted"

Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation (VSEDC) in Celebration of National Women’s History Month presents, “HerStory: She Persisted.”  This “Signature” VSEDC event spotlights Women-Owned businesses and includes a reception, panel discussion and VSEDC Women-Owned Business Exhibitors. Four panelist will share the challenges that Women-Owned Businesses face as well as their successes.  In addition, this program will discuss the significant economic contribution and impact that Women-Owned Business make to the US economy.  Attendees have the opportunity to learn firsthand how four diverse business owners “Persisted” through the challenges and obstacles unique to women, and how they qualify and quantify their successes.

Feted panelists are: Michelle Allaire, Owner, Michelle’s Country Diner and S&W Restaurant; Cassie Betts, District2.co (a Fashion Technology enterprise); Ivory Rose Chambeshi, MPA, MPL, Founder & Chief Champion, Urban Rising Group (Planning, Capacity Building, Community Outreach) and Carmen Hall, Founder Golden Rule Resources LLC (Multi-lingual Business Leasing).
